Ben founded The Technician's Toolbox is late 2014 and is a keen Sound and Lighting Engineer specialising in Avolites! He has written numerous articles and spent hours and hours improving the look and the feel of the site to give the user the best possible experience. Ben is a freelance Lighting Programmer/Designer and Sound Technician and has worked on a range of live events and has extensive knowledge of Avolites Titan! |

Jordan co-founded and helped set up the first Technician's Toolbox website and has been helping behind the scenes providing everything we need to keep up an on line service! He is responsible for the whole email system, newsletter system, support and hosting systems as well as trying to work out ways to improve the running of the site to make user experience better. |

Elliott is the Director of a Lighting and Sound Hire Company, ELX Hire and joined The Technician's Toolbox Team in 2015 as a volunteer writer. Thanks to his extensive knowledge of lighting products within the entertainment industry, he has written and assisted with many articles and reviews in addition to managing the social media pages for The Technicians Toolbox. Elliott is formally a freelance lighting designer and programmer based in Essex/London and has worked with many high profiled clients such as Amazon UK, Redbull and Barco. He has an excellent range of lighting console knowledge from Hog4, MA2, Avolites, ETC EOS, Jands Vista and Chamsys. Having gained expereinece in Live Events and Theatre, Elliott is a great addition to our team! |
Senior Author, Website Designer and Editor
Lewis is an up and coming lighting designer who's career has involved working at a variety of events including concerts, corporate events, theatre and award ceremonies. Starting out as a sound engineer and being a studio technician, Lewis has additional knowledge of Sound, AV, Rigging and Power. He is also proficient in Capture Visualisation Software and Avolites Titan. As an experienced lighting programmer and lighting designer, Lewis will be hosting upcoming projects and developments for the website. |

Matt is a keen lighting designer. He spends hours and hours writing site content. He joined the team in early 2015 and has since been looking after various sections of the site ensuring they are up to date. Matt has written numerous articles for the site including the safe rigging guide and worked with Elliott on the dot2 review. Presently Matt is studying technical theatre with a bias towards lighting design for concerts and live events. |
